A new SA record price of, R500 000, for a cow of any breed has been paid by Mr Quentin De Bruyn (Vastrap Borane) and Mr Nic Stompie Olivier (Hotspot Borane). The cow, MHB Jackie 05 08, bred by Mr Jacques Moll of Moll’s Hoop Borane, is naturally polled and a prolific embryo flusher. She was sold in a private treaty from the farm.
